It is the agreement on local and provincial affairs. It contains joint articles negotiated between bctf and bcpsea and local articles negotiated between FDTA/CDTA and the Board of Education sd5. It also contains a series of “letters of agreement” indicating that there is an agreement between the union and the employer on how the sections are to be interpreted. (NB: This is the previous one, which was in effect until June 2019. A new agreement was negotiated until March 2020 and the BCTF and FDTA voted in April 2020 in favour of ratification by the provincial and local parties. The new document will be published here as soon as possible.) “I am pleased that we were able to negotiate a new collective agreement with the management of the Amalgamated Transit Union,” said David M. Stackrow, Chair of the CDTA Board of Directors. The three-year contract is fair to our employees, just to CDTA and good for our customers. ». . . .
